I am not afraid to be myself and speak my mind because the students genuinely want to listen to each other and understand one another's point of view.

What clubs, organizations, sports, service projects, etc. are you involved in?

ASB Treasurer, Renaissance Committee, Asian Food News and Culture Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Varsity Basketball (Captain), Theater (Stage Manager), Podcasts and Playlists

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

My favorite spot on campus is Senior Patio because it is basically the central point of the campus, so I'm surrounded by the entire community, but also get the privilege of having a set place for the seniors. It's fun being able to walk from table to table during lunch because of how open Senior Patio is.

What is your career aspiration?

I'm still figuring that out but something related to math and science or film.

What's your proudest accomplishment so far?

I think my proudest accomplishment so far is helping make a device for the thermal lab at Boeing that actually helps real-life engineers. It's rewarding to see something that I helped design in high school being used by a multi-billion dollar company.

What three words describe you?

Ambitious, Persistent, Outspoken

What's your favorite class at Flintridge Sacred Heart and why?

My favorite classes at Flintridge Sacred Heart are Nish's math classes because they are fast-paced, and I genuinely enjoy the structure and topics he teaches. The flipped classroom is really nice for math because in class we get to work through problems together, which helps teach us the process of approaching hard math problems.

What do you love about Flintridge Sacred Heart?

I love how helpful and approachable the teachers are. I am not afraid to stay after class or raise my hand to ask questions because I know I won't be judged. I also love how open and accepting the students are. I am not afraid to be myself and speak my mind because the students genuinely want to listen to each other and understand one another's point of view. The classes are also really lively and I know I will smile or laugh at least three times in every class.

What advice do you have for someone applying to Flintridge Sacred Heart?

If you are applying to Flintridge Sacred Heart, I would say that you should research all the opportunities on campus, so that you come to school knowing where you want to get involved and so the information dump at the start of the school year is less overwhelming. Also, I would keep an open mind because no two experiences are the same and there is no perfect mold for a high school student. Keeping an open mind and being involved helps not only when applying to college, but also developing who you are and want to be as a person.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I have game nights with my friends, go to concerts, go to the beach, crochet, read, and go to the Americana to watch movies and shop.
