I am a woman. I’m entitled to mood swings. Very True. Ha! ha!

Everytime I say “I Love You”, it comes from the heart and I truly mean it. Do you mean it too? Say these words to someone that you love today. Who knows maybe there would be no tomorrow for you to still say it.

Suicide is never an option. It is the coward’s way out, don’t you think? Please never think that no one loves and understands you. There are dozens of dying people out there who are willing to give anything and everything just for one more day. Don’t waste life, it’s beautiful.

Everything’s easy when it’s not about you. Things get complicated when the “you” is replaced with “me”.

Hugs make a big difference. It reinforces confidence, well-being and love. HUGS for everyone!

We may not be capable of understanding each other’s problems, no matter how hard we try, or be able to process every comment, piece of advice, and attitude into the truth as it was intended. We just may not be strong enough to deal with certain things because of all that’s going on in our lives at the moment.

I sense a wall going up between us. I liked life better without it, and I hope you did, too. To say “I’m sorry” is an understatement…I’m sorry if I’ve been insensitive to your situation. I’m sorry if I failed to understand something that you thought I should. I’m sorry for whatever’s wrong and for all the reasons it turned out this way. I’m sorry if you’re having a hard time dealing with something in your life and for anything I did or didn’t do that has caused our relationship to be less than it was.

I know some things are hard to talk about, but I just wanted you to know that I’d like to patch up whatever’s wrong. I’d like us to get along. I miss that comfortable feeling we had with each other. Life is so short ; I don’t want there to be tension or bad feelings between us. I want the best for YOU. I want you to be happy.

I’ll put the past behind us, if you will, so we can get on with tomorrow….

It may take me a couple of years more, when my sisters finally become stable. But it will happen.

A few minutes ago, I watched Korina Sanchez’ Rated K show. A segment featured a former domestic helper (DH) becoming a self-made millionaire. She worked hard in Saudi Arabia as a DH, working even during her days off as a caregiver and a manicurist. And all her hard work paid off. She saved enough money and went back to the Philippines to open her own business. She and her husband delivered fishes to clients. Upon saving income from their delivery business, they opened a new business of glass and window cutting.

A friend of mine, ate Nalen/Manilenya came to mind while watching the segment. I know in my heart that she will make it as well.

Hardwork, perseverance, a lot of prayers, trust and confidence… these are things needed for a person to make it. To become millionaires. To become financially stable.

I know someday soon I will make it. I already mapped out everything. All I need to do is to slowly (but surely) start the process.

And I will. Soon.

It’s hard. There’s a lot of resistance from within. I kept on pretending that I can survive that way but boy was I wrong! Denial was the name of the game. Slowly, after that enlightening talk that made me realize the lies I’ve been living in, life’s going back to the way it used to be… Before all the denials.

I can proudly say that I’m giving my 99% of myself now. There are lapses, yes, but hey, I wouldn’t be human without it!

This morning, while having breakfast, I saw a mom with her two daughters. I was looking at the youngest one, busy talking and telling her older sister about the straws she took from the counter. And it dawned on me, what I have been longing for for so long now…

A kid of my own.

Someone I can pass on everything I know, everything I’ve been working so hard for.

Yes, my family is there for me. My hands are full just with them alone. But still, there’s something in me that is longing for someone of my own.

I don’t know if I should be acting on this impulse. I know I will be a very good mother. I can provide for my kid. I can give her her basic needs, send her to a good school, put a roof over her head.

I will think about it again. I will pray to God for His guidance.

By next year, I want to get pregnant.

Let’s see.

My good friend, Dino, sent this message an hour ago. I was so touched by the message I thought of blogging about it. You see, sometimes, we truly do forget to say thank you to a lot of people just because we expect them to be always there. What if, by some twist of fate, they won’t be there tomorrow or the day after… we would never be able to say thank you to them anymore.

So I’m taking this opportunity to say THANK YOU, dear blogger friends for being there for me for the past six months now… always sharing with the laughter, tears and all the whatnots in between ^_^

Have a great week ahead, everyone!

P.S. Can I ask you to pray for me for the next two weeks? I truly need all the prayers that I can get so I can get A by next year. Again, thank you friends! ^_^

Malaya… thank you… naku, mare, you never know the inspiration you brought into my life way back in bravenet pa. I remember one of your old posts about Him, it’s a poem you did… I was struggling that time, in between jobs kasi, and it brought me so much peace talaga. Hindi ako natuwa that you have struggles in life rin that time but it trivialized everything that I was going through back then. I wish we can both overcome all these struggles in our lives.

Basta, when I read your posts about your life, bumabalik ang spirit sa akin. Promise!

My one and only confidante in the office got a job offer from Procter & Gamble this afternoon. Nagulat sila why we’re jumping and laughing and almost crying from the sheer joy brought about by that text message from the company’s HR person. Overwhelming!

A few months back, we’re talking about looking for another job because we’re truly not satisfied with how the companies we’re handling are run… but I was always teasing her that she’ll probably be the first one to go… Hay, nagkatotoo nga!

So happy for her! I stopped looking for another job muna because I’m focusing on A by next year. And I’m learning to appreciate even the negative things about the company kaya okay lang for me to stay pa. Dapat 2005 natuloy na ako but well my mom asked me to stay so I did. Yun pala she’s leaving us na when she made that request. Oh well..
