I saw an interesting exercise machine on TV. It looks like I do not have to do much work while exercising. It seems easy to assemble and to use as well. But I’ve been victimized too many times by these false ads. In fact, I have 3 good as new exercise machines at home that are gathering dust in the stock room because of its complexity and it did not really do much in shaping my body. I’m watching the telly now and I’m looking at a state of the art treadmill. It looks promising really. Let’s just see if I’m going to be conned into buying one by this advertisement. You’d know in my succeeding posts.

My best friend who just newly became a Mom was asking about tips that she could get from me in rearing her own daughter Alie. I told her that I’m just being a Mom to my darling baby Sophia for just 19 months now. I even told her that there’s no cookie cutter approach when it comes raising your children to become the best persons that they could be. It’s always a case to case basis. It is always different strokes to different folks so I really do not have any sagacious advices because I myself am in my baby steps now in this madness called motherhood. So she just asked if there is a quick trim burn and cleanse program that I know of for first time Mommies who want to shed off excess after giving birth fats. I told her that we are looking for an exact same program and we just laughed it off. It is the pains and joys of being a Mom.

Bald As an Eagle

My brother Charlie who is now residing in Ireland sent me a newly taken picture of him with a castle in the background. I noticed that he has aged already and that her once smooth and soft face has grown somewhat wrinkly. His smile is still the same though but I saw a little sadness in his eyes. He must have really missed us a lot that’s why. I have become aware of his receding hairline as well. His once thick and wavy hair has now turned into sparse mop of hair. He should have read articles and tried out products to prevent hair loss in the past but it’s just too late because in just a little more time, he’ll be bald as an eagle. Just the same, he is still a very attractive man.

Crazy Cravings

It’s the time of the month again when the red flag can already be seen from afar. I get so worked up over petty things, my patience is as short as a strand of a cat’s hair, I eat like there is no tomorrow and feel so slothful (READ: slower than a slug) almost all the time. This is what PMS do to a woman before she can freely wave the red flag in the air. Now, I even snack at midnight and if this gets out of control, I will need another bout of the best diet supplements in the market for me to survive with my crazy cravings.

Break-Outs

My colleague Cathy developed skin break-outs when she was still carrying her first born in her belly. She used to have rosy white almost perfect clear skin but due to her hormones have gone haywire when she was pregnant; she has so many pimples on her face and acne as well. She was even tempted to try acne solution while heavy with child. But she was advised but her OB that it could be harmful to her unborn daughter that’s why she didn’t insist anymore. But now that she has now become a mother officially last week, she already made an appointment with her dermatologist. She is determined to regain back the skin she once lost.

No Ordinary

Before I was diagnosed to have a rare kind of skin cancer last August 8, I was in the dark as to what kind of skin disease I really have. I went to several dermatologists telling me their own tales. One of them said that I’ve got vitiligo the other one said that it might be pityriasis versicolor instead. I even resorted to looking at eczema pictures on the net since I’ve grown so confused already. Until I finally decided that for my peace of mind once and for all, I will be requesting for a biopsy. And that’s when I found out that it was no ordinary skin disease but a type of skin cancer. Had I known that it’s something serious, I should have brought it to a dermapathologist to start with.

Dream Job

My 20 year old niece Kim will be graduating from College this coming March. She can’t stop talking about her dream job. Since she’ll be finishing Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, she’s so excited to start applying all that she has learned in school about inventing and reinventing the interiors of homes or any building for that matter. She’s just quite worried that she might wait a little longer than usual to be able to land a job since the employment rate here in the country is too low. I hope she still reaches her dream though.

My brother gave me a P1k worth of EGC. Weird, that fellow never gave me a gift for any occasion, and now out of the blue he decided to give me this? Hey, I’m not complaining, but I’m just a little wary if there’s a catch. But then again, for a girl like me EGC is synonymous to SHOPPING! Yippee!

I quickly planned what to buy with it, P1k is not much, but hey spending free money is good enough. So I head out to the mall. I brought my wallet just incase I find some more stuff I’d like to buy. I saw this great top, and decided that this is what I wanted to spend my EGC on. I also picked some toiletries and some eye make-up. I knew I was a little over the P1k budget, but it’s ok since I have my wallet with me.

Now, I’m at the counter paying for the stuff, handing them my EGC, and guess what happened. The cashier informed me that the POS system was down, and that they would only be able to accept CASH payments! Really now! I knew it; this was too good to be true! Having no other option, I paid for the items in cash. In all fairness to my sibling, it was beyond his control. Later that week, I was able finally use the EGC; I bought some more eye make-up. I’m such a girl! LOL! Thanks a lot bro!
