Time out with friends

One thing that I could not give up after my marriage is time out with my friends. I am lucky to have a very understanding husband though who does not take it away from me. Yeah, sometimes I feel guilty if I am being a bad wife or am I just exercising my rights as an individual? Being a submissive partner is still a big question to me. What are the boundaries? Do not get me wrong. My married life is always happy especially having our daughter now. It adds to our bond making it stronger.

Hey now, I would like to talk about having a time out with my friends. Well being out of the house and married life are correlated in a way, right? Anyways, it is just that I am happy to keep that freedom.

Ahh…life. Life is lazy…boy! I’m lovin’ it here. Popcorn anyone? It’s tasteless though. I think there has been a shortage of SALT!

GPC is short for Globe Platinum Cinema at Gateway. I know, I know I’m supposed not to be biting the hands that feed me. I’m still loyal to my company of course. This is just all for the love of Rob Pattinson. She and Shen thanks for an extraordinary fun that we had today. The movie became bearable because of you two. I love you guys until the “Twilight” of our lives! Love my pun, eh?

The trip to Tarlac was about less than 3 hours.

Since we have passenger who’s starving like a monster, we drove through Mc Donald’s on the express way. We all ordered of course but the fillers we took did not prevent us from feasting on the sumptuous offerings of Isdaan.

We pigged out! Just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Thankful and wishful

After over a year, we were back to Isdaan in Gerona, Tarlac.

On our first visit, we were just three. I even wrote an article about it here. All three of us made our wishes. Mine has come true as well as She’s. I just do not know with Michelle because she did not share her wish or wishes with us then (wink-wink).

This year, we’ve got the pack with us. We were seven which is much cooler!

This Buddha has changed. It used to be gray or colorless. Now, it’s Golden which made wishing more exciting!

I wish that our well wishes will be granted.

My friend who is taking bodybuilding supplements just got married. Wow, he looked so handsome in his suit. Usually, the bride is the star of the occasion. This time, all eyes were also on him because of his beautiful body. I am sure, his wife can never be more proud. Right now, he continues to take those supplements combine with exercise. Especially now that someone will cook for her, he needs that!

One thing we appreciate about this friend of ours in the office is that she always proactively checks who is present or not in a given day. There was one time that one of us thought that it was his rest day. Good thing, this friend of ours called him and asked him if he were sick being absent. Whoa! Though, he was more than an hour late, it saved him from AWOL.

My friend had already transferred to his new condo. He got it through financing so I asked him if he got mortgage life insurance for that. I think it is a must because he will never know what is to happen within 30 years. Yes, he got the property payable for thirty years. But, my friend is a loving person. He would not want to leave his family with any worries at all. He made sure that he got everything covered.

When you get married, getting into each other’s world is not that easy. You have too many differences. Different crowds. In my case, I and my husband are even from two different cultures and nationalities. He is a Chinese and I am a Filipino. We are not alike at all in many ways.

Last Saturday was the birthday celebration of one of my officemates and he also invited my husband to come with me. At first he was hesitant. He had never been with my friends in the office except during our wedding when we did the table hopping for photo. But, I was happy that he was able to mingle with my friends in a manner that he seemed a part of the group already.

Sometimes things are being presented to you in ways that you do not like or you do not understand. But, it is just His way for you to realize the more important things in life.

There is no room for me to complain. He has blessed me with so much. I have a very good husband. I am about to give birth to a beautiful child. I have two families that are always here to support me. Not to mention my treasured friends who understand me and who know the real me.

Trials might come. I have to face them. No fear because I know, I am being guided. Every step of the way.
