What do your students call you?

Boots

What made you want to work at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

Friendly students and staff, and a beautiful campus.

What most excites you about your work here on the Hill?

I love working at Flintridge Sacred Heart because of the many opportunities students have to learn and explore different subjects and disciplines. Personally, it is great to be able to do different things throughout the years. I did teach robotics for a couple of years and yearbook last year; I was the faculty representative for 3-4 years and now I am the math department chair. Flintridge Sacred Heart is a great inspiring place to work, where every year I discover new and better ways to help my students.

What do you love about the all-girls environment at Flintridge Sacred Heart?

It is important for me empowering young women in leadership and critical thinking. It is rewarding to see how students grow confident by the time are seniors and how they are ready for their next chapter.

What's your favorite place in the world?

My favorite place in the world is Hanalei in Kauai, Hawaii.

What are you surprisingly good at?

I am very good with languages. I speak three fluently: Italian, Spanish and English. I am also pretty good with French and Portuguese.

Who has made the biggest impact on your life?

My great aunt inspired me to study hard. She was a professor in college in Italy and she taught me to be curious and always seek knowledge.
