A Chronicler's Life

Stroke of Luck

Have you heard of the Filipina domestic helper who inherited 6 million Singaporean dollars from her employer of 20 years? Amazing isn’t it? I mean she must have loved her like a real daughter and vice versa. She even said that she felt sadder when her employer died compared to when she lost her birth mother. They must have established a formidable kind of friendship to leave her that large sum of money. If I were in her shoes, the first thing that I am going to do is to buy gold coins and keep it until it appreciates and that’s the time that I am going to dispose of it. But if that doesn’t happen because of our erratic economy, gold coins can be very valuable to add to my various collections.
