Plan B
September 26, 2009 marked as one of the saddest days in Philippine history. It was when Ondoy, the deadliest typhoon to ever hit the country killed hundreds of people and left thousands homeless. You’d see people from all walks of life immersed in muddy and murky waters bringing with them whatever they have salvaged from the flood. Some lost their material possessions but many lost their lives. It was a real tragedy. Those who have lost their homes just wandered about. It’s not like there are mobile homes here in the country that they can stay even just for a few nights unlike in other countries. I sure hope that our government would consider including these types of homes in their contingency plan for flash floods.
