The Greatest Gift
One of the most important people in my life has been given by God the most beautiful gift that anyone would be truly blessed to receive. She has been praying for it and after years of waiting, finally her secret desire will soon be fulfilled. I’m pertaining to the gift of life. My best friend is nurturing a life inside of her; soon she will be a full pledged Mom. And I’m just so thrilled to see my godchild already. That’s why even if she asked me to keep mum about it for awhile; I wasn’t able to contain my excitement and let our close friends know through baby announcements the great news. Oh, I just hope that she won’t get mad at me for spilling the beans too soon. I’m just so happy for her! I’m sure that my daughter Sophie and her child (whatever the gender of my godchild is) will be best of friends also just like their Moms. We’ve been the best of friends for 14 years now and counting. And I plan for us to stay that way even after we already have our own grandchildren.
