My Sale-philiac Best friend
Peachy, my best friend since first year college may have come from an affluent family but she continued to remain simple and modest in so many ways. I remember when we were still in school; she would bring junk foods that can be purchased at any nearby sari-sari store than bring really expensive and branded chips. She doesn’t mind being friends with any one, in fact social stature is of no importance to her. That’s why she’s got friends from all walks of life. And if there’s one thing that would really make her heart do somersaults and cartwheels that’s at the mention of the word sale! Her eyes light up like that of a puppy which was just given a brand new chew bone. Oh, she’s just so hilarious most of the times. She can really make me laugh. She would rather fight her way to a crowded shop and rummage through piles and piles of clothes than go to a designer boutique and hire a personal shopper to do the shopping for her. That is just one of the million big and little things that I so adore about her.
