An Anniversary to Remember
I was surfing the net one time to look for a destination for our upcoming second year wedding anniversary when a breathtaking picture of a sunrise caught my eye. It says in the caption that it’s the “Lost City of the Incas.” I got really interested and did a little research. It’s in Peru and it’s the most familiar symbol of the Inca Empire. It’s a place best for trekking. I haven’t experience that before and since we would like this to be an anniversary to remember we’re thinking of a Machu Picchu travel instead of a romantic get-away. I’ve learned that the Inca trail to Machu Picchu is rated as one of the best trekking trails in the world offering stunning landscapes and ancient ruins with diverse ecology. We would like our anniversary to be something different and communing with nature tops our list.
