Don’t Text and Drive!
Two weeks ago our less than a year old car was hit by a reckless driver. Our driver was backing up in front of our house when suddenly a speeding pick-up collided with our car. Thank God that no one got hurt! My parent in laws and sis in law were inside the car but luckily they did not get even a bruise. The driver was very apologetic because he bluntly said that he was texting and was surprised that there’s a car on the middle of the road and it was too late for him to press on the brakes already. That’s the reason that I want the authorities to be more vigilant in reinforcing the law about using a cell phone while driving. It’s as good as drunk driving both of it is fatal. Regarding the damages endured by our car, opportunely my father in law got a car insurance so in times like this we don’t have to pay for anything anymore. Good thinking dad.:-)
