A Chronicler's Life

Killer Back

Posted by Joshua at 11:59 pm

Last month I was complaining of extreme pain on my lower back. It was so painful that I hardly get any sleep at all. My hubby brought me to a spine surgeon and based on my lumbar sacral spine series, my spine is lordotic meaning I’ve got lordosis. Lordosis is defined as an abnormal forward curvature of the spine in the lumbar region or better known as swayback. According to the surgeon I was born with it but it was aggravated by my pregnancy that’s why right now all the weight of my upper body goes to my hips. I can’t even sit properly. It was very hard for me. Good thing that the doctor gave me some back exercises and I must say that the pain is almost gone now. I refuse to go on a pain killer that is why I stuck to my exercises steadfastly and it paid off. The key is that my back should be as relaxed as possible. How I wish that I’ve got home theatre seating so I can watch my favorite shows on the telly comfortably.
