A Chronicler's Life

Move It! Move It!

My seven year old nephew Patrick loves to watch cartoons. Weekends are his cartoon marathon days. He frequents our house to play with his cousin Sophie and one afternoon he was watching his fave cartoon Madagascar and was dancing and singing to the beat of I Like to Move It by Sacha Sumet who played King Julien the Lemur in this animation. He was chanting “Move It! Move It!” when I remembered my good friend and neighbor Amy who left our neighborhood a week ago. Her one year old son loves to sing that song too in his cute and adorable garbled version. I really miss my friend because she always stops by the house every afternoon to chat over coffee about anything and everything under the sun. We exchange notes on our children’s milestones. It was so fun to have her around. That’s why I got really sad when I’ve learned that her husband will be transferred to another place to take care of their company’s branch there. Amy has always been resourceful. That’s why I trusted her judgment on who to call when it comes to a reliable moving company. Nothing else but a boston moving company. They are renowned for their modern cargo space protected by security cameras all over. I stopped worrying for her when I found out that she chose the right company to take good care of not only their important things but the memories attached to it. I’m sure every time she hears the song I Like to Move It; she couldn’t help but think of all the special afternoons we spent together.
