Episiotomy
I delivered Sophie the normal way and it was an answered prayer. There were some complications of the episiotomy, though. I learned from Wikipedia that It is one of the most common medical procedures performed on women, and although its routine use in childbirth has steadily declined in recent decades, it is still widely practiced. Having an episiotomy may increase perineal pain in the postpartum period, resulting in trouble defecating. That is one of the reasons why this procedure has been unpopular.
Right now, I am still on medication so that the wounds will heal completely. I had midline episiotomy and it was even extended that my wound is really long!
