A mother’s intuition
I came from check up two days ago and the doctor said that I am about to give birth anytime. I was advised to take a walk beginning Sunday so that it can help the delivery process. You know, law of gravity. Walking would make the baby go down faster as they say. My friend said that when she did that even for just one hour, the next day, she gave birth already. I am excited and at the same time, afraid but I leave it all up to God.
I do not know what happened that day but all form of communication was shut down when we got home. My mobile phone had no signal. Even the landline phone had no dial tone. Worse, I felt some pain in my tummy. Oh, I prayed hard. I cannot give birth yet. My hubby was away for work. Finally around 830PM, the phone rang. It was my Mom. She said that she was worried. As if, she knew what I went through. She said that I should not be left alone from now on because of my delicate condition.
