It was one of those times when I was too fat because of my post pregnancy flabs that I had to attend a cocktail party and I really panicked and got totally lost on what to do. Of course I don’t want to look like a pig in a blanket so I really exerted an effort to surf the net and find something that could work for me real fast since the party was due in 3 days already. Even if I diet and starve myself to death, I won’t still fit in the Maxi dress that I so love to wear when I was still single. Good thing that I come across kymaro body shaper on the telly. I immediately called up their number and had one delivered to me pronto. I was hesitant at first that it would do much to hide my bulges but lo and behold because it did not just hide my blubber but also enhanced my figure. It gave my shapeless body form and a beautiful silhouette. I received a lot of complaints the night of the party. They even said that I do not look like I have just given birth. Just Got Engaged!
My long time friend Shen has just got engaged a few nights ago. Her fiancé proposed to her in the sweetest way. Literally speaking I mean because aside from scattered rose petals in the hotel room they are staying in, he also made a heart shaped chocolate Kisses in red wrappings on top of their bed. And in the middle was a single blue kiss and instead of chocolate, the engagement ring was the one wrapped in it. Shen was deliriously happy and got over excited that she blurted out an emotional YES even before she was asked by Kevin. And they both cried. Such a happy story to hear! And now that they have already sent their save the date invites, our friends and I are already looking for the perfect wedding gifts for the couple. Another alibi I can use to go shopping. 
Light Me Up
Our droplights in the dining area got busted. I was surprised at first but then I have realized that in almost three years we haven’t changed any of it yet. So I guess it’s just high time for it to bid adieu. Besides, its style is quite outdated already and now I have a reason to scout for a set of new ones. I have to go on another trip to Dolan Designs lighting. Lighting stores always gets me excited. I don’t know what’s with it. But every time I get to enter one, my mood just suddenly lightens up. Love the pun, eh?
Diamonds Are Not My Best friend
I am not really a jewelry type of person. An accessory person maybe but not the glitzy all expensive type of jewelry. The most expensive I own is a necklace and ring set worth around a little more than half a hundred grand. And I did not even buy it. It was just a pre-wedding gift of my in laws to me. And I seldom use it for the fear that I might lose it. I am not that into diamonds. I know that most of the girls gush and go gaga when they see one but I’m not one of them. I love accessorizing so much though. From my head piece to whatever I wear on my entire body, it has to be color coordinated. You’ll never see me wearing anything that clashes with my clothes and shoes as well. I just love glamming up and revamping my look every now and then. Diamonds are okay but they are just simply not my best friend.
Indispensable Dispensers
Previously, I was able to work as call centre agent for an international firm here in our country. I worked on a constant graveyard shift starting from 9pm to 6am. And since during these hours food stores are no longer available, vending machines suddenly became my best friend.
It suddenly dawned on me how good of an investment these machines must be. Our office alone must have at least 500 agents, and most of them buy their snacks from these indispensable dispensers. Office workers like me who are always busy, and do not have the luxury of time to dine outside the workplace, would prefer fast food. Vending machines are indeed lifesavers, they are so convenient, every office should have one.
Life is Easy
What is more irritating than having an engine failure when you are in such a hurry to attend a very important client presentation? It is such a hassle calling a mechanic, missing a crucial deal and losing everything in the process. I have been there done that and hated every ugly bit of it. That’s why I’m extremely happy when I learned about mechanical breakdown insurance. I never thought that there is such a thing as this. Third and counting
On our third wedding anniversary this coming April 29, I am planning for a surprise romantic trip for hubby and I. We are both getting too tired from working and I think that it’s the right time for us both to leave work for a while and let this day be the dreamiest vacation of all time. I am looking for a perfect place where we can have real quality and special time for each other. I wanted us to be in a place where we can just kick off our shoes and have the time of our lives. Beautiful Centerpieces
I just came from my Father in -law’s 58th birthday party held in one of the hotels in the Metro. The function room was decorated with red and gold balloons and the tables and chairs were clothed with blood like red and the hems are lined with yellow gold as well. The carpet is of the same color and even the walls have tinged of red. The room was very elegant and well-designed. But what really struck me were the lovely flower centerpieces. They are such an eye candy. It was so beautiful to look at. They are of different flowers in red and golden yellow with baby’s breath wrapped in sparkling paper. I just hope I was able to take a shot of it but I forgot my camera. Every year it has always been the same hotel for Daddy’s birthday bash. And I can say that every year they are getting better and better with their service and designing of the interiors. And I forgot to add that the food was superb! We really had a good time eating great food, chatting and laughing with friends and family and just simply having fun.
Insure and Ensure
I had a blast with my photo sessions on my pre-nuptial and wedding day most especially. And that is all thanks to my great photographer Wally. He’s no ordinary person. Aside from creating really beautiful pictures, he’s a person with a good heart as well. In fact when he saw that my sister in law was really interested in becoming a photographer too, he even offered free lessons. He’s a well known photographer and yet he is still very well grounded.
It’s been quite awhile since I last heard from him and I was very much saddened when I read in the newspaper just recently that he met an accident, a car crash. Good thing that nobody was badly hurt no one but his brand new Porsche Cayenne! Poor, poor baby! It was a total wreck! I just hope that he was able to get a really good and reliable car insurance for it. I wasn’t able to give him a ring yet to check on him because his phone is turned off. Maybe it got broken during the crash too.

In order to contribute to our already polluted planet, I think we should all stop cutting the trees and destroying our forest. We should go for paper less campaign in the office or even in schools. With the birth of Web 2.0, I think it’s high time for us to use technology and leave nature alone. And I think printers should be made obsolete and patronize scanning software more. Scanned documents can be kept in our hard drives, flash drives or much better if we will all learn to use online back-up instead. Let’s just keep our documents in the net and in that way we will be able to save a whole lot of trees.
